Why I'm Running - and What Comes Next for North Andover

Three years ago, I ran for Select Board because I believed North Andover deserved common sense leadership that would show up, listen, and do the work — even when the work was hard. Since then, we’ve faced some real challenges: devastating floods, painful debates, budget uncertainty, and a national spotlight. I’ve worked through those challenges alongside town staff, fellow board members, and residents who care deeply about our future.
Now I’m running to keep that work going — and to keep North Andover moving Forward, Together.
Here’s what I stand for:
Fiscal Responsibility: We can’t meet our goals if we don’t plan responsibly. I’m proud of our sound financial practices — and I’ll continue to protect taxpayer dollars while finding smart, sustainable ways to invest in services and infrastructure.
Housing that works: We need housing that lets seniors downsize, young families put down roots, and our kids stay in the town they grew up in. That includes starter homes, missing-middle housing, and workforce options — all thoughtfully planned, not overbuilt.
Economic Growth and Open Space: We can preserve town character and still unlock opportunity. That’s why I’m leading efforts to responsibly develop our Merrimack River frontage, while continuing to support land conservation efforts that protect what makes North Andover special.
Infrastructure that keeps up: For two years running, I’ve made increasing our annual road improvement budget a top priority — and I’ll keep pushing for more state support and smart investments in aging infrastructure.
Leadership collaboration: I’ve helped convene key town leaders during difficult moments. I believe strong public schools require strong collaboration — and that public trust is built through open, honest conversation.
Transparency and accountability. Residents deserve to know what’s happening, why decisions are being made, and have their voices heard. I’ll continue to be accessible and open, and I’ll never shy away from a tough conversation.
I know I can’t predict what challenges lie ahead. But I can promise this: I’ll show up, I’ll listen, and I’ll bring the same thoughtful, honest approach that’s guided me since day one.
That’s why I’m running.
If this sounds like the kind of leadership you want on our Select Board, I’d be honored to earn your support on Tuesday, March 31. If you are interested in getting involved in my campaign, click here to join the team!
