Still All In

Three years ago, I ran for Select Board because I believed North Andover deserved leaders who would listen, dig in, and do the work, especially when it wasn’t easy.
Now, after floods, fires, First Amendment debates, school budget crises, and a lot of honest conversations in between… I still believe that. Maybe even more than I did before.
So yes, I’m running again.
Not because everything has gone smoothly. It hasn’t.
Not because the job is easy. It’s not.
But because I care deeply about this town — and I’ve seen what happens when people show up for each other.
When we had businesses underwater in the Mill District, we didn’t wait for the state to bail us out — we found a way forward using local relief funds. When national headlines put a spotlight on the flagpole, we had hard conversations, stuck to the facts, and worked to protect the town’s long-term interests. When the school budget crisis hit, I helped lead a joint session of our Select Board, Finance Committee, and School Committee — something rarely done — to start tackling it head-on.
Were those moments easy? No.
Were they necessary? Absolutely.
That’s the work.
And I’m proud to have been in the room for it.
But this isn’t just about the past.
It’s about where we go from here, and what it will take to make North Andover stronger for the next generation.
I want to keep fighting for smart, sustainable growth. For housing that actually meets our needs. For better roads, a more vibrant downtown, and smart use of state and federal dollars. For the kind of planning that helps us preserve what we love about this town — while building for the future.
That’s why I’m asking for your support again.
Because leadership isn’t about always being right. It’s about being present, being honest, and doing the work.
I’m still all in.
Let’s keep moving North Andover Forward Together.
